From the Kluwer Arbitration Home page, access the Profile Navigator by selecting it from the Our Tools drop-down menu or by clicking the Find profiles link within the Profile Navigator & Relationship Indicator container shown below.

To find arbitrators by name, begin typing the name and select from the suggestions provided.  Click Search to access the profile.

Alternatively, find profiles by selected criteria using the filters (Role, Nationality, Language, etc.) that match your case requirements.

In the Nationality and Language filters, click the AND/OR toggle for individuals who hold multiple nationalities (e.g. France AND United States) and have experience with multiple languages (e.g. English AND French). Note:  By default, the toggle will be set to ‘OR’. To exclude an individual who holds a particular nationality from the results list, use the filter Nationality - exclude.

Use the dropdown menu at Sort By to sort the results by Most Appointed or by Number of Publications.

Once you've applied your filters, click an individual’s name to access their profile.  For more information on an individual profile, see the Profile Page section, below.

Profile Page

Each profile provides you with reliable, objective information gathered from our database of awards.

The top of the profile includes links allowing you to quickly access Cases, Awards and Publications that the arbitrator has acted on or contributed to. Review the awards and publication to gain insights to the arbitrator approach and views as part of your matter Due diligence.  

Click Explore relationships located at the top right of the profile to uncover potential conflicts of interest of the individual. For more details, see Kluwer Arbitration - Relationship Indicator.

Some arbitrators have opted in to enhance their profile with a layer of self-reported information. These sections have a clear label stating Self-reported while sections based on data-driven information are labeled Kluwer's Database.

The Arbitral insights section provides data-backed insights into the arbitrator’s experience with sectors, applicable rules, and applicable treaties and laws. 

Move between the tabs along the top to see the individual’s experience under each of the underlying roles (e.g. Arbitrator, Counsel, Expert Witness or Other).

Click on the number of cases to access the underlying cases for further exploration.

Clicking See subsectors provides access to a detailed view of the arbitrator's experience within each main sector.

Scroll down to the Cases section to get an aggregated view of all the cases in Kluwer’s database that the arbitrator participated in.

Clicking on the case number directs you the case page on Kluwer Arbitration. For more information on the case page, see Research Cases and Awards.

Export allows you to download the table in CSV format.  Click on an individual’s name in the Tribunal Composition or Counsel columns to access that individual’s profile.  Use the bottom scroll line to display the additional Outcome and Counsel columns.

Click on the Filters icon, on the top right of the table, to open a filters menu.
